He is currently studying at the prestigious National Conservatory of Music and Dance in Paris (CNSMDP), in the class of Prof. Vincent Lhermet.
As a soloist and chamber musician, Vozbutas performs extensively across many European countries, the USA and Canada. His career includes memorable performances at the Berlin Philharmonic, the Rouen Opera House, the Singer-Polignac Foundation in Paris, the Lithuanian National Philharmonic, and on the French national radio station France Musique, as well as concerts with renowned ensembles: the Grammy Award-winning ‘Ensemble intercontemporain’ and ‘Kremerata Baltica’, as well as the Lithuanian National Symphony and Chamber Orchestras. With a strong focus on contemporary music, J. Vozbutas actively collaborates with renowned composers (Stefano Gervasoni, Claire-Mélanie Sinnhuber, Elisabeth Angot), premieres new works and is a sought-after guest at renowned classical and contemporary music festivals, such as the Festival Singer-Polignac, the ‘ManiFeste’ festival organised by IRCAM in Paris, and the ‘Festival Pablo Casals de Prades’. As well as his active artistic activities abroad, the young musician is also committed to promoting cultural life in Lithuania: he has been serving as artistic director of the Seda St. John Nepomuk Church Music Festival since 2024, and became the Honorary Ambassador for the Jubilee Year of Šiauliai in 2026.
